I watched the new vampire tv series based on Tanya Huff’s books. It was great! So glad to see a new vampire series on television. I’m a huge fan of the new Dark Shadows and Forever Knight and was very disappointed when both shows ended. Blood Ties looks promising.

I’m currently working on the cover for my upcoming book BLOOD SWORD, a Dead Walkers novel and thought I’d ask readers what they like and dislike about book covers. Blood Sword is a Regency era vampire novel set in Ireland. So, my dilemma is this - do readers prefer a cover reflecting the vampire/paranormal side of the book, the historical aspect, or a combination of both?
I’ve seen some great covers for historical paranormals using photographs that don’t have anything to do with the time period. But I also like the ones that are very historical in looks but also reflect the paranormal plot.
So what catches a readers attention?

Well, I finally decided to get a blog! I’m in the process of settling my new writing office and trying to be a bit more organized, so I figured it was time for me to get into blogging. This will be the place to learn the latest info on my books and upcoming appearances. I’ll still post to my website, but my blog will probably have the info first.
Thanks for stopping by!
